Our adult parishioners have a strong desire to deepen their faith and understanding. During Advent, Lent, and other times during the year adult education programs are held on weekday evenings, often over a shared dinner. Sessions are led by our rector, seminarians, guest speakers, and parishioners. Topics include world religions, deepening our spiritual life through book and Bible study, church history, the creeds, and understanding the Anglican Communion.
We also offer Inquirers’ classes for those from other denominations who wish to learn more about the Episcopal Church and the Anglican tradition. Many of our members come to the Episcopal Church from other faith traditions and some have no formal religious background. In fact, it is said that as many as 60% of Episcopalians were raised in another tradition. We have many parishioners who were Roman Catholic, while others were Methodist, Congregationalist, Baptist, Presbyterian, and more. Our rector was brought up as a Lutheran and joined the Episcopal Church in college.
Whatever your background, we invite you to join us on a journey of discovery, understanding, and growth in our life of discipleship.
