Summer Formation Opportunities
Keep Going. Go Deeper.
Summer at Emmanuel doesn't mean a pause in our life together as disciples — learners, doubters, questioners, and followers of Jesus. It means an invitation to keep going.
As we gather for one service at 9:00 a.m. through the warmer months, we're opening several "on-ramps" for continuing formation: low-pressure, come-as-you-are ways to grow in faith that carry us gently toward this fall's deeper journey under our new theme, Going Deeper.
What We're Exploring
At the heart of the summer is a four-part book study of Hanna Reichel's For Such a Time as This: An Emergency Devotional — a bracing companion for faith in our own urgent moment, and an echo of the very call that summoned Esther to courage.
Woven between the book study sessions are two Summer Psalms for Emmanuel Sundays, when we'll sit with the ancient prayers of God's people — songs of trust, refuge, and blessing — and let them become our own.
All of it unfolds right after the 9:00 a.m. service, in good company and easy conversation.
Summer Schedule: All sessions meet after the 9:00 a.m. service.
