Our Hearts, Together: A Service of Remembrance, Mourning, and Healing
Emmanuel Episcopal Church warmly invites the community to a special evening of reflection, healing, and remembrance on Saturday, November 2, at 5:00 PM.

Titled “Our Hearts, Together: A Service of Remembrance, Mourning, and Healing,” the event is a space for those who have experienced loss to come together, honor their grief, and seek solace through collective prayer and reflection.
Led by the church’s clergy, Reverend Brett Johnson, this service acknowledges the varied experiences of grief and offers compassionate support. Through prayer, scripture, music, and symbolic acts like the release of stones representing sorrow, participants will be invited to lean into their pain while surrounded by the warmth of the community. The event will include a time for personal reflection, where attendees may share or simply sit in solidarity with others.

“There is no wrong way to grieve,” Reverend Brett reminds us. “We are here to breathe together, to mourn together, and to heal together.”
This service is open to all, whether mourning the loss of a loved one, carrying personal hardships, or supporting those who grieve. The service will conclude with a blessing, offering participants a sense of lightness and renewal as they leave.
